The project's goal is to make the game playable with keyboard and mouse controls and help people who don't have a gamepad. The controls are similar to the original GTA Vice City (PC version).
Fixes in 05.2024 build 3005:
- Fixed animations of pistol and submachine gun. (Bug in the PSP version, sometimes the player was flattened when running with a weapon).
- Improvements in missions at 60FPS: "In the Air Tonight" and "Vice Sights" the flash from the cameras is returned. (In the original, the game crashes with 60FPS in these missions. The particle effect was adapted for 60FPS. In previous versions, the effect had to be cut out.)
- Fixed cutscene lighting (Unnatural shine, possibly a bug in the PS2 mod).
- Fixed the cutscene in the mission "Shakedown" (The bug only occurred with 60FPS).
- Mission "Accidents Will Happen" fixed a minor bug in the cutscene. (Occurred only with 60FPS, the car fell down from the springboard.)
- Mission "Marked Man" fixed a bug at 60FPS. (Sometimes we could knock down Martinez's people in the cutscene.)
- Mission "Conduct Unbecoming" fixed a bug in the cutscene. (Martinez's head turned strangely, almost imperceptibly.)
- Removed involuntary running with a weapon. (When reloading with w pressed, the player sometimes ran, an original PSP bug).
- Improved game stability.
Fixes in 06.2024 build 0606:
- Mission "Unfriendly Competition". Fixed cutscene at 60FPS. Armando Mendez sat out of the chair. (Bug related to 60FPS).
- Mission "Burning Bridges". Fixed a bug in the cutscene with Lance's flying motorcycle. (Bug 60FPS).
- Mission "Purple Haze" removed strange lines from the effect. (PS2 mod bug).
- Mission "Taxi" improved tip time (Easier to get at 60FPS).
- Missions "Crash!" and "Rush!" have been improved. (Improved transport physics, now it's easier to earn money).
- Fix on the garage returned.
Fixes in 08.2024 build 0308:
- Changed helicopter camera. More convenient and closer to the original Vice City.
- Added missing text from the PS2 version.
- Fixed a minor random crash due to the modified Scorpion weapon animation.
- Minor fixes in the mission "High Wire". There were many complaints that users could not pick up the box, and therefore it was slightly moved.
- Slightly changed the camera speed in the weapon sight.
- Fixed a save bug. Emulator bug, the game loaded only the first slot, and now the newest save.
Fixes in 09.2024 build 0809:
- Added the ability to crouch by pressing the "C" button. (Similar to GTA Vice City, can help in shootouts. In the original VCS there is no such possibility.).
- Changed the cheat menu activation button to "F2" (Now you don't need to hold down two buttons at once, just press "F2").
- Updated the cheat menu to the latest version (Compiled from the source code).
Fixes in 12.2024 build 2412:
- Changes in the interface.
- Fixed the display of the time scale in the mission The Exchange, and also adjusted the time for 60fps.
- Fixed a minor bug scene in The Exchange mission. After eliminating the enemies, the arriving cars braked for a long time and could knock down our allies. (Recently noticed, this was related to 60 FPS).
- Changed the launch file. Virustotal no longer complains about the project. (For some reason, there were false positives on one of the files, and now a different launch method is used via a shortcut with the necessary parameters).
- Optimized cleo scripts for fixes.
Note: DO NOT CHANGE the emulator settings and DO NOT USE the cheat menu functions in which you are not savvy, this may lead to instability of the game, breakage of the controls and other errors. The build is already well configured and it is not worth changing anything in it, this may lead to the problems described above.
Installation:
- Download the installation file (choose the file depending on the bitness (x32, x64) of your system).
- Run the downloaded file.
- Go through all the installer steps and complete the installation.
- Run from the shortcut on the desktop "GTA Vice City Stories".
- Play!

Цель проекта сделать игру с управлением на клавиатуре и мышке и помочь людям у которых нет геймпада. Само управление схоже с оригинальной GTA Vice City (ПК-версия).
Исправления в 05.2024 build 3005:
- Исправлены анимации оружия пистолета и пп. (Баг PSP версии, иногда игрока сплющивало при беге с оружием).
- Улучшения в миссиях при 60FPS: "In the Air Tonight" и "Vice Sights" возвращена вспышка от фотокамер. (В оригинале игра вылетает с 60FPS в этих миссиях. Был адаптирован particle эффект под 60FPS. В прошлых версиях приходилось вырезать эффект.)
- Исправлено освещение катсцен (Неестественный блеск, возможно баг PS2 мода).
- Исправлена катсцена в миссии "Shakedown" (Баг возникал только с 60FPS).
- Миссия "Accidents Will Happen" исправлен мелкий баг в катсцене. (Возникал только с 60FPS, машина с трамплина падала вниз.)
- Миссия "Marked Man" исправлен баг при 60FPS. (Иногда мы могли сбить людей Мартинеза в катсцене.)
- Миссия "Conduct Unbecoming" исправлен баг в катсцене. (Голова Мартинеза странно вращалась почти незаметно.)
- Убран непроизвольный бег с оружием. (при перезарядке с зажатым w игрок иногда бегал, баг оригинала PSP).
- Улучшена стабильность игры.
Исправления в 06.2024 build 0606:

Исправления в 08.2024 build 0308:
- Изменена камера вертолета. Более удобная и приближена к оригинальному Vice City.
- Добавлен недостающий текст с PS2 версии.
- Исправлен мелкий случайный вылет из-за измененной анимации оружия Scorpion.
- Мелкие исправления в миссии "High Wire". Поступало немало жалоб, что пользователи не могли подобрать ящик и поэтому он был чуть передвинут.
- Немного изменена скорость камеры в прицеле оружия.
- Исправлен баг с сохранением. Баг эмулятора, игра грузила только первый слот, а сейчас самое новое сохранение.
Исправления в 09.2024 build 0809:
- Добавлена возможность приседа на кнопку "C". (Схоже с GTA Vice City, может помочь в перестрелках. В оригинальной VCS такой возможности нет.).
- Изменена кнопка включения чит-меню на "F2" (Теперь не нужно зажимать две кнопки одновременно, а просто нажать "F2").
- Обновлен чит-меню до последней версии (Cобран из исходного кода).
Исправления в 12.2024 build 2412:
- Изменения в интерфейсе.
- Исправлено отображение шкалы времени в миссии The Exchange, а так же подкорректировано время под 60fps.
- Исправлен мелкий баг сцены в миссии The Exchange. После ликвидации врагов приезжающие автомобили долго тормозили и могли сбить наших союзников. (Замечено недавно, это было связано с 60 Фпс).
- Изменен файл запуска. Virustotal больше не жалуется на проект. (По каким то причинам раньше были ложные срабатывания на один из файлов и теперь используется другой метод запуска через ярлык с нужными параметрами).
- Оптимизированы cleo скрипы исправлений.
Примечание: НЕ МЕНЯЙТЕ настройки эмулятора и НЕ ИСПОЛУЗУЙТЕ функции чит-меню в которых вы не шарите, это может привести к нарушению стабильности игры, поломке управления и к другим ошибкам. Сборка и так хорошо настроена и не стоит что-то менять в ней, это может привести к проблема описаны выше.
Установка:
- Скачать файл установки (выбирайте файл в зависимости от разрядности (x32, x64) вашей системы).
- Запустить скаченный файл.
- Пройти все шаги установщика и завершить установку.
- Запустить с ярлыка на рабочем столе "GTA Vice City Stories".
- Играть!
