SkyGfx brings back the exact PS2 graphics atmosphere to PC.
Changes to 2.5a: - Returned smoke (for example, on the dance floor in the club or at the lamps in the fog). - PS2 vision for night glasses, PS2 infrared vision for thermal glasses and their interference. - Re-attempted to fix bugs with golden parts of cars and bright reflections from blown up cars. - The ini-system of the mod has been redone. Now you can have multiple configs (skygfx1-9.ini). You can switch between them with F10 or reload everything with F11. By default, there are skygfx1 and 2: the first is responsible for a configuration similar to PS2, and the second to the PC. If skygfx1-9.ini are missing, then the plugin will load skygfx.ini. - Disabling HQ shadows and removing clouds on the horizon are now disabled by default in skygfx1.ini. - Dual grass pass can now be turned on/off separately. - Fixed PS2 color modulation.
Installation, Requirements, Notes: - Use compact or HOODLUM EXE - We need ASI Loader - Put the skygfx.asi and INI files in the game folder - You must use SilentPatch - Rename timecycp.dat to timecyc.dat.here - When using dual pass rendering in SilentPatch, disable it (TwoPassRendering=0) if using dualPassWorld=1 in SkyGfx (i.e. DO NOT enable dual pass in both plugins). You can also turn off Silent's NVC shader by NVCShader=0, SkyGfx has an (improved) replacement for - Plugin can be configured via INI file. There is also a description of many settings - Since not all PC vehicles work perfectly with PS2 reflections (too strong), it is recommended to use PS2 Vehicles on PC - To get a big PS2 sun, use seabed.iplwith PS2 (decreases draw distance)
