The Flying Spaghetti Monster replaces any character. The Flying Spaghetti Monster (FSM) is a deity of the religion founded by Bobby Henderson in 2005 as a protest against the Kansas State Board of Education's decision to introduce the concept of "Intelligent Design" as an alternative to evolutionary theory in the school curriculum. In an open letter on his website, Henderson proclaims a belief in a supernatural Creator resembling spaghetti and meatballs — the Flying Spaghetti Monster, and calls for the teaching of Pastafarianism in schools, thereby using the argument of reductio ad absurdum against the doctrine.

Летающий Макаронный Монстр (ЛММ) eto божество религии, основанной Бобби Хендерсоном в 2005 г. в знак протеста против решения департамента образования штата Канзас, требующего ввести в школьный курс концепцию «Разумного замысла» как альтернативу эволюционному учению. В открытом письме на своём вебсайте Хендерсон возвещает веру в сверхъестественного Создателя, похожего на макароны и тефтели — Летающего Макаронного Монстра, и призывает к изучению пастафарианства в школах, тем самым используя аргумент reductio ad absurdum (сведение к абсурду) против учения.
