Imagine if the Doherty construction area looked different — more detailed, with signs of the past and signs of the future. There used to be two garages, one of which is now dilapidated and abandoned, with scattered trash and remnants of old structures inside.
The foundations and lower floors of demolished buildings covered with construction sand can be seen on the construction site. The whole area is covered with materials — concrete blocks, beams, scaffolding.
A modern skyscraper has already been erected, and work is underway to renovate the train station — scaffolding for wall cladding has been erected. Despite the atmosphere of abandonment, especially in the evening, the work continues.
On the site of the old car service station, rumor has it that they are planning to open a rugby team headquarters — as evidenced by posters on the construction site.
