GTA Carl Johnson Stories is a modification, the development of which began in November. This mod transfers Carl Johnson to Liberty City in 1991. The main goal of the mod is to show an older version of the city on the GTA: San Andreas engine.
It is worth noting that there is no storyline in the mod. However, players will find a large number of changes in Liberty City - from new banners to the appearance of Little Italy. A demo version is currently available, but development will continue. The only obstacle may be the intervention of Take-Two.
Known bugs: Error with radio station names - they are not displayed. This may be fixed in future versions.
Main changes in Liberty City:
- Added ferry piers from GTA: Liberty City Stories (not yet functioning);
- Roads and some other textures have been completely reworked manually;
- The Fort Staunton area has been transformed into Little Italy, recreated 99% as in the original;
- The Hepburn Heights area is under construction;
- Added trees from the GTA: Liberty City Stories version for PS2;
- New interiors of CJ's houses have appeared (available only on two islands);
- A save building from GTA 3 is being built on the third island (there is a bug with windows at night).

GTA Carl Johnson Stories — это модификация, разработка которой началась в ноябре. Этот мод переносит Карла Джонсона в Либерти-Сити 1991 года. Основная цель мода — показать более старую версию города на движке GTA: San Andreas.
Стоит отметить, что сюжетной линии в моде нет. Однако, игроков ждёт большое количество изменений в Либерти-Сити — от новых баннеров до появления Маленькой Италии. На данный момент доступна demo-версия, но разработка будет продолжаться. Единственным препятствием может стать вмешательство Take-Two.
Известные баги: Ошибка с названиями радиостанций — они не отображаются. Возможно, это будет исправлено в следующих версиях.
Основные изменения в Либерти-Сити:
- Добавлены паромные причалы из GTA: Liberty City Stories (пока не функционируют);
- Полностью переработаны дороги и некоторые другие текстуры вручную;
- Район Fort Staunton превращён в Маленькую Италию, воссозданную на 99% как в оригинале;
- Район Hepburn Heights находится в стадии строительства;
- Добавлены деревья из версии GTA: Liberty City Stories для PS2;
- Появились новые интерьеры домов СиДжея (доступны только на двух островах);
- На третьем острове строится здание сохранения из GTA 3 (есть баг с окнами в ночное время).
