Muscle car from the country of kangaroos: this car has nothing to do with the eminent American - in fact, it is Australian. The Holden brand, which is part of the GM concern, revived the Monaro model in 2001 after 25 years of oblivion. The basic versions received a 3.8 V6 engine with a power of up to 353 forces, a four-speed automatic transmission was offered. The top Monaros came with the good old 5.7 V8 from the Chevrolet Corvette and a six-speed manual transmission. In addition to the Holden brand, this car was also sold under other brands: Chevrolet, Vauxhall and Pontiac.
Monaro's century was short-lived - it was produced for only five years and was removed from the assembly line in 2006.
