Pilgrims are an unusual group of simple travelers and inveterate explorers of the Zone. It was founded by some stalker who is fond of medieval themes, for which this group received such an unusual, but appropriate in meaning, name. Members of this group greatly help all residents of the Zone, as they are looking for new trails, exploring previously unexplored places, and also looking for new paths into and out of the Zone. Many members of this group also moonlight as guides, as they can lead to many interesting places due to their main activity. Due to this and their general assistance, pilgrims are practically not touched by any other groups, giving them the opportunity to calmly explore impassable places in the Zone. There are also many novice stalkers in this group who have recently come to the Zone and are eager for new sensations, discoveries, and are also looking for opportunities to become famous and, moreover, earn good money. The base of this group is located somewhere east of the Cordon, and a seasoned stalker who has seen a lot is in charge of them. In addition, the pilgrims have several transshipment points closer to the center of the Zone, where some members of this group are also constantly staying. The pilgrims also have their own equipment, which consists of heavily modified stalker overalls and jackets, as well as special badges and even documents to identify them as pilgrims.
