After another dose, Jake Hendel was confined to bed. He lost the ability to walk, then to speak, and finally to move his eyes.
Doctors predicted Jake's death within two weeks, but it turned out there was something worse than death — becoming a hostage of his own body for many years. Hearing conversations around without the ability to engage in dialogue.
To avoid going insane, the protagonist retreats into the depths of his thoughts, where he recalls his past life and tries to find ways to break free.

После очередной дозы Джейк Хендель оказался прикован к постели. Он потерял возможность ходить, затем говорить, а потом и двигать глазами.
Врачи прогнозировали Джейку смерть в ближайшие две недели, но оказалось, что есть что-то хуже смерти — стать заложником собственного тела на многие годы. Слышать разговоры вокруг без возможности вступить в диалог.
Чтобы не сойти с ума, главный герой уходит в глубины своих мыслей, где вспоминает прежнюю жизнь и пытается найти способы вырваться наружу.
