The mod covers the entire game map with snow. Unlike the similarly named project Snow San Andreas 2011 or Winter Vacation, this mod is not demanding on hardware and is well-suited for low-end PCs and playing in SAMP. There’s nothing superfluous here, and you can safely install new mods, use this mod as a base for a winter build, or play through the story in single-player.
Snow-Andreas v5.0 is positioned as a universal winter mod and can be used in both single-player and multiplayer, so there’s no new storyline, replaced vehicles, or other mods. Just snow. Everything else you can install yourself, or play on a "clean" game.
The development of Snow-Andreas began back in 2007 and was a mix of modifications from authors of that time. It included not only snow textures but also other "eye-searing" retextures of various buildings, signs, and billboards. The goal of the new version is to completely refine the mod, giving it a second life in 2019.
Changes in 5.0:
* Redrawn LODs in rural areas, now green grass is not visible at long distances;
* KFC, McDonald's, and pizzerias replaced with original brands from GTA SA, several interior retextures removed;
* SnowFX updated to version 4.0
Full list of changes compared to the original 2011 version:
* All textures have mip levels added, now the "black roads" bug on low graphics settings will not occur, and the textures themselves now look more solid.
* The modpack and about a hundred other retextures have been completely removed. Now only snow textures.
* Winter weather.
* Snow tires on all vehicles.
* Driving has become difficult due to icy conditions.
* Some Easter eggs from the original mod have been preserved and new ones added.
* SnowFX now has an INI file where you can configure the snowfall controls.
* The game will not crash with incorrect installation of SnowFX.

Installation in the game:
The mod is already ready to use with the Modloaderplugin. You need to install this plugin if you don’t have it yet, and then move all files from the archive to the game folder. For any questions regarding the mod, you can leave comments under this file.

Мод покрывает всю карту игры снегом. В отличие от одноименного проекта Snow San Andreas 2011 или Winter Vacation, данный мод не требователен к железу и хорошо подойдет для слабых ПК и игры в SAMP. Здесь нет ничего лишнего, и вы можете спокойно ставить новые моды, использовать этот мод как основу для зимней сборки, или проходить с ним сюжет в одиночной игре.
Snow-Andreas v5.0 позиционируется как универсальный зимний мод и может использоваться как в одиночной игре, так и в мультиплеере, поэтому здесь нет нового сюжета, замененных машин или других модов. Только снег. Всё остальное вы можете установить сами, или играть на "чистой" игре.
Разработка Snow-Andreas началась в далеком 2007 году и представлял из себя солянку из модификаций авторов того времени. Туда входили не только текстуры снега, но и другие "вырвиглазные" ретекстуры различных зданий, вывесок, билбордов. Цель новой версии — тотально доработать мод, дав ему вторую жизнь в 2019 году.
Изменения в 5.0:
* Перерисованы лоды в сельской местности, теперь на дальних расстояниях не виднеется зеленая трава;
* KFC, Мак-Дональдсы и пиццерии заменены на оригинальные бренды из GTA SA, убраны ретекстуры нескольких интерьеров;
* SnowFX обновлен до версии 4.0
Полный список изменений по сравнению с оригиналом 2011 года:
* Всем текстурам добавлены мип-уровни, теперь не будет бага "чёрных дорог" на низких настройках графики, да и сами текстуры теперь выглядят более добротно.
* Полностью убран модпак и около сотни других ретекстуров. Теперь только текстуры снега.
* Зимняя погода.
* Снежные покрышки у всех автомобилей.
* Управление автомобилем стало затруднительным из-за гололёда.
* Частично сохранены пасхальные яйца с оригинального мода и добавлены новые.
* У SnowFX появился INI файл, в котором можно настроить клавиши управления снегопадом.
* Игра не будет крашиться при не правильной установке SnowFX.

Установка в игру:
Мод уже готов к использованию с помощью плагина Modloader. Вам необходимо установить этот плагин, если его ещё нет, а затем переместить все файлы из архива в папку с игрой. По всем вопросам касательно мода вы можете обращаться в комментарии под этим файлом.
