There is such a phenomenon in GTA VC that some players regard as a myth. The bottom line is that far from the coast, silhouettes of various sea vessels appear, which soon disappear.
In fact, the developers wanted to create something like ordinary ships sailing away - for the effect of living creatures.
As you might guess, this mod brings this feature to SA. Ships will spawn away from beaches.
Their behavior and textures are taken from VC. They are actually flat (2D), and transparent.
They are better seen in good weather, but they can also be seen perfectly in another - it depends on the time of day.
