With this mod you can meet the real tumbleweed! It can spawn anywhere in the desert, and will roll around the area. It is very fragile. If it hits a wall, if a car drives over it, or a person tramples on it, it will collapse, and a small destruction effect will appear. The tumbleweed also destroys itself after some time if it rolls for a long time. If it collapses, then with a 25% chance, a bill in denominations from 1 to 15 dollars may appear in its place. You can pick her up. If anything, then this feature was borrowed from the mod of the same name for Minecraft.
Tumbleweed appears quite often in the desert, but it is not so easy to notice it. However, it often appears near the player.
Why is this tumbleweed needed? - For atmosphere. Tumbleweed is often used to refer to an empty, deserted place. - For money. This bonus is customizable. Maybe someone will come in handy. Personally, thanks to the tumbleweed, I learned that a storm can blow in different directions, and the direction often changes. As they say, live a century - learn a century, you will die a fool.
Version 5.0 - Now there are two tumbleweed models. Taken from the original GTA: SA. Now it rolls in the direction the wind blows. The dll file contains the arc tangent function to calculate the required rotation angle. - The chance of dropping money, their amount, as well as the frequency of occurrence can now be adjusted. - The object remains in the save, but if you set NeedToClear = 1 in the settings file, then all objects that have a tumbleweed model will be deleted, allowing you to re-save and clear the save. I don't know if the 701 and 702 models are still in the game, and therefore there is a Full version that adds two new objects (actually copies of the standard ones) with unique model numbers that are not used anywhere else. Although this version is more difficult to install, cleaning errors are definitely excluded. There are standard models. Both versions are in the archive.
Version 5.1 - Suitable for weak PC. Loads the library and keeps it in memory for the entire game process. For the past on weak versions lag like hell with a large accumulation of mods.
Version 5.2 - I had to remove the library, as it provoked lags even on weak PCs. Instead, the script has a primitive analogue of the arcsine function for calculating the rotation angle. All previous versions are no longer supported.
Guys, unfortunately I can't post the video. But you can help me with this.
The muzzle of the tumbleweed on the screen is dedicated to all my haters.
'Random' is the name of one of my mod groups. Most often, this group includes all the most interesting and unusual things that come to my mind (or to other people who offer their ideas to me). Some of my past modifications can be attributed to this group. If you have any interesting and unusual ideas - feel free to write to me, and if they are worthwhile, then I will definitely create them!
