The Webley Revolver is a breaking frame revolver chambered in .455 Webley. Began production in the 1870s by the English firm Webley & Son Company (currently called Webley & Scott Co. since 1897). In 1887, the Webley-Green revolver was adopted by the British Army and remained until 1963. The breaking frame scheme provides a fairly high reload speed, comparable to that of side-folding revolvers.
