Speedrun timer

This mod is a built-in timer for GTA SA speedrun. Suitable for both Any% and 100%. Works automatically, saving splits after completing missions. When loading a save, it continues to work from the interrupted stage, so the passage can be done intermittently. When you play through it again, the mod will guide you through the saved splits. In addition to missions, various key points are used as checkpoints, such as the beginning of the missions of a parking attendant, couriers, recapturing areas, an ambulance in Angel Pine, the top of Chiliad, etc. In addition to the above-mentioned default checkpoints, you can add up to 5 checkpoints at your discretion. To do this, stand at the desired point and hold down the sprint button and the upper middle part of the screen for 3 seconds. The next time you boot, this checkpoint will work.
Speedrun.ini , which is used by the mod, is located in the folderFiles . In it you can change the location of the timer on the screen: [fsys]/PosX, PosY. You can also reset all splits by setting [fsys]/exist=0. You can simply delete the fileSpeedrun.ini , it will be reset and recreated, but race records and your personal checkpoints will be deleted. Keep in mind that when you complete the first mission, the checkpoints are updated - this is necessary so that the mod knows which ones you have completed and which ones you have not. So don’t get carried away with loading different saves and going through different stages of the game at the same time. If necessary, you can edit splits in the file itself; they are indicated in seconds. Personal checkpoints are located in the [personal] section. If you want to remove them, set the value to 0.
Caesar's call to San Fierro is disconnected because... he randomly gives the mission, even if you refused.
In the folder!extra you may find some useful files. The most important of them is another small mod calledaml_fix.csa .
Modaml_fix.csa corrects these shortcomings:
- The cranes at the docks and in the quarry were not working. Now a button for moving forward (sprint) has been added, which allows you to somehow manipulate the cranes and complete missions. The joystick widget is at the bottom of the screen.
- The exercise equipment in the gym did not work. Now, just by being in the gym, you get muscle growth. (35% required to learn fighting styles). I tried to adjust the growth rate to the use of the simulator.
- There was a problem with the appearance of cars. For example, by default the Cheetah car is taken on the mission "555 we tip". But it doesn't appear in AML. In addition, the Patriot vehicle is taken from a military base, but due to 5 stars it has become almost impossible to take it. Now these and some other cars will simply stand in certain places. Patriot - next to the San Fiero military base. Cheetah - In the parking lot near the northern part of the construction site. Slamvan - in the parking lot next to the courier mission (San Fiero). Journey - in Angel Pine in the parking lot on the north side. I added these cars because of the features of the mobile version, such as the inability to use replay to load a car model, or respawn cars by moving the camera.
- There is no button to open the parachute. aml_fix does not address this problem, I’ll just say that the parachute opens by double-clicking approximately in the area of the health bar (at least that’s how it is on the tablet).
Other files in the folder!extra :
- lite-unbug.csa — a small mod for those who use the light version of the game with cut scenes. If you encounter a bug where you can't get into the car at the beginning of some missions, this mod will help you.
- handling.cfg — almost original handling.cfg with some neat changes. First of all, the maximum speed of motorcycles has been changed. It is increased as if you were driving crouched, because when using button controls you cannot crouch and you lose speed. Slightly reduced Banshee's TurningMass, resulting in her turning better during driving school. This was done because in the mobile version it is quite problematic to position it perfectly with the wheel on the springboard.
- GTASAsf1.b - a save that will help you learn collectable objects, such as oysters, horseshoes, photographs and graffiti. The game is completed up to the jetpack, but not a single item has been collected, except for a few graffiti, which are completed during the third mission. You can even set checkpoints in the right places and try to collect these items against the clock.
Installation:
- copy the com.rockstargames.gtasa folder toAndroid/Data (folder!extra the mod is not required for operation)
