GAZ-21 "Volga" is a fairly large car produced from 1956 to 1970. The exterior design of the car is inspired by the American automobile industry of the early 50s. More specifically, the inspiration was the cars of the FORD brand. It may very well be that the prototype of the "Volga" could have been the Ford Mainline 1954.

ГАЗ-21 "Волга" — довольно большой автомобиль, производящийся с 1956 по 1970 годы. Внешний дизайн автомобиля выполнен по вдохновением американским автопромом начала 50-х. Если конкретнее, то вдохновением были автомобили марки FORD. Очень может быть так, что прообразом "Волги" мог послужить Ford Mainline 1954 года.
