The Mil Mi-8 (Russian: Ми-8, NATO reporting name: Hip) is a medium twin-turbine helicopter, originally designed by the Soviet Union in the 1960s and introduced into the Soviet Air Force in 1968. It is now produced by Russia. In addition to its most common role as a transport helicopter, the Mi-8 is also used as an airborne command post, armed gunship, and reconnaissance platform. Along with the related, more powerful Mil Mi-17, the Mi-8 is among the world's most-produced helicopters, used by over 50 countries. As of 2015, when combined the two helicopters are the third most common operational military aircraft in the world. Note: this file is not allowed to be modified, edited, re-uploaded, or sold to any server or person. All free GTA5 mods provided by the author are strictly for personal use only. Selling, profiting, or using them for any monetary purposes — including on FiveM — is strictly prohibited. These creations are protected by law, and any misuse will result in action being taken through Rockstar Games, FiveM, and Tebex. Installation:FiveM:
- Drag the folder from FIVE-M into your [cars] folder and start the resource.
Add-On:
- Place the "mi8" folder into [Gamefolder]\update\x64\dlcpacks\
- With OpenIV, open [Gamefolder]\update\update.rpf\common\data\dlclist.xml and add this line using Notepad++:
- dlcpacks:\mi8
- Open extratitleupdatedata.meta (found at [Gamefolder]\update\update.rpf\common\data) and add these lines:
dlc_mi8:/
update:/dlc_patch/mi8/
- Launch the game and use a trainer with “spawn by name” (e.g. Enhanced Native Trainer).
Spawn Name: mi8.
Troubleshooting:
- If the game crashes on startup, use a custom gameconfig.xml (available at gta5-mods.com).
- Always use a Mods folder and make a backup before installation.
