Get ready to transform the nighttime Los Santos with the "Enhance Streetlight" for Grand Theft Auto 5! This modification completely rethinks the lighting of the city, making it more realistic and visually appealing. You will see streetlights take on a cool white hue and also start to emit different colors, accompanied by improved lighting and shadow techniques.
What's new in version 2:
This updated version brings many significant improvements and additions, taking the visual experience to the next level:
- Minor bug fixes, providing a more stable experience.
- Added a variety of shades to light pollution, including blue, red, pink, gold, green, blue and white, making city lights even more vibrant.
- Blue and light blue hues are now present in both streetlights and lanterns, creating a unique atmosphere.
- Completely redesigned all light pollution from the ground up, greatly improving its quality and realism.
- Improved and redesigned the "High Intensity" system, making the light brighter and more saturated.
- Added a new optional package, "High Quality Volumetric", which brings even more depth and volume to the lighting.
- Many other small improvements provide a more refined and pleasing visual experience.
- Streetlights now shine in shades of green, pink, gold, blue, red, and many other interesting colors.
Installation:Be sure to back up the following files before installing the mod. This will help avoid problems if you decide to uninstall the mod:
- v_traffic_lights.rpf, located at: Grand Theft Auto V\mods\x64h.rpf\levels\gta5\props\roadside
- vfxfogvolumeinfo.ymt, located at: Grand Theft Auto V\mods\x64a.rpf\data\effects
- lodlights.rpf, is located at the path: Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\update.rpf\x64\levels\gta5.
Installation of the mod is automatically through OpenIV:
- Open OpenIV.
- Click on the "Open Package Installer" icon or select "Tools" and then "Package Installer".
- Be sure to install the mod only in the MODS folder! This is critical to be able to easily remove the mod if you don't like it — just delete the corresponding file from the MODS folder, and the game will return to its original state.
Note: This mod is not compatible with the "White LED Streetlights (WLS)" and "NVE Streetlights" mods, as it overwrites the improved streetlight models, which may cause conflicts.
