Lookout Towers

This mod adds three fire lookout towers to the map: one high on the slopes of Mount Chiliad, another above Raton Canyon, and a third near the Galileo Observatory in Vinewood Hills. The tower model is borrowed from the Cayo Perico watchtowers and features glass windows and a well-equipped interior for round-the-clock observation. Thanks to static collisions, proper long-distance rendering, distant lights, removed vegetation, and updated in-game scenarios, these towers do not affect performance and blend seamlessly into the environment, as if they have always been part of the game.

Logging companies have already destroyed most of the forests around Los Santos, making it even more important to protect the remaining patches of trees on the slopes of Mount Chiliad and in the northern valleys of Vinewood Hills. Now, rangers can monitor the area from above and quickly respond to any signs of wildfire smoke on the horizon, even through the haze.
