Icons from the beta/GTA 4 & new UI color by Steve Walsh concept
Beta icons and icons from GTA 4 with interface color from Steve Walsh's concept for GTA 5
This is a small mod that changes the color of the money to green (Online style) and restores the colors of the area name and vehicle name from Steve Walsh's original HUD concepts. Basically this mod brings you a little closer to the beta and makes the money green like in GTA Online.
Installation:
Use OpenIV, go to location: mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/ui — just drop the files called "hudcolor" and "frontend" in there.
Map icons from beta and GTA 4:
This mod turns vanilla tags into the ones HeySlickThatsMe found in the blips.xtd file in the XBOX360 version of the game. All beta and GTA 4 versions have been restored, and all other icons that were not included have been remade from scratch based on the final versions or his own ideas. They might be useful to some people on the FiveM servers, I think the icons are free to use, but if you're going to put this out as a resource for people to stream (does that make sense?) then at least mention HeySlickThatsMe and gongel.
There are some new tags, I mean duplicates have been replaced with new variants, however this hasn't been fully tested so I'd love to see feedback.
Installation:
Using OpenIV, go to the path (mods/update/update.rpf/x64/patch/data/cdimages/scaleform_minimap.rpf) to install minimap.ytd into your game, replacing the file beforehand.
