Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2021 from FV Design and Lozano!

To celebrate Christmas in 2020, we are hosting a festive WINDY CITY CHRISTMAS UPDATE.

Windy City (GTA 5 Chicago) is a map developed by FV Design and Lozano.

The mod was received positively by critics and was featured on several well-known and lesser-known gaming and technology websites.

The highly detailed area of downtown Chicago was taken from the Racing Sim Race Driver GRID 2 game developed by Codemasters. The original map was taken from the Race Map Pack mod by Derkuwinator and edited.

It was then redesigned to be usable in the open world that the Grand Theft Auto series is famous for.

A 3D scan of the Google Maps area has been added as an addition to the existing one to confirm that the map is not an island, but rather a landlocked ghost zone. GTA 3 (III) was the only 3D version of GTA that showed the world to players in this way.

The High Definition area of Downtown Chicago was extracted from the Racing Sim game Race Driver GRID 2, developed by Codemasters. Source map was edited from a mod Race Map Pack by Derkuwinator: https://dekurwinator-mods.bitrix24.site/

It was then further remastered to see use in free roam gameplay styles that Grand Theft Auto is well known for.

Google Maps 3D scanned area is added as complementary to the existing as to certify map is not an island and rather an illusive landlocked zone. GTA 3 (III) was the only 3D GTA to feature such a way of depicting a world to players of the franchise.

Чтобы отпраздновать Рождество в 2020 году, мы устраиваем праздничное РОЖДЕСТВЕНСКОЕ ОБНОВЛЕНИЕ WINDY CITY.

Windy City (GTA 5 Chicago) — это карта, разработанная FV Design и Lozano.

Мод был положительно встречен критиками и размещён на нескольких известных и менее известных веб-сайтах, посвященных играм и технологиям.

Высокодетализированный район центра Чикаго был взят из игры Racing Sim Race Driver GRID 2, разработанной Codemasters. Исходная карта была взята из мода Race Map Pack от Derkuwinator и отредактирована.

Затем она был переработана, чтобы её можно было использовать в открытом мире, которым и славится серия Grand Theft Auto.
