GTA IV Vehicle Mod Installer v1.3
This is an application that will allow you to simply and quickly replace the original vehicles of GTA IV and episodes (TLAD, TBoGT) with the created vehicle models for this game.
Now you don’t have to rack your brains about how to fit in this or that handling, etc. Just specify the zip or rar archive with the car and the folder with GTA - the program will do everything for you.
Changes in v.1.3:
- Added selection of model parameters for installation;
- Added the ability to restore multiple models;
- Added checking for the presence of the necessary game files;
- Improved game localization detection;
- Fixed detection of special vehicle names for German, French, Italian, Spanish and Japanese languages;
- Improved algorithm for packing the vehicles.img file upon exit;
- Improved recovery algorithm;
- Fixed a bug with reading the img file header;
- Added definition for installing a model on top of another model;
- Added search for original files in previous installations;
- Fixed errors with clearing cache;
- Added catching of unexpected errors;
- Improved window switching mechanism;
- Fixed incorrect message display during long-running processes when a button is pressed;
- Added error handling in the game configuration file for the buzzard model in EFLC during recovery;
- String parsing algorithms have been optimized and improved;
- Code fragments leading to memory leaks have been rewritten;
- Improved recovery function for complex models such as Slamvan;
- Added filter by model type;
- Added scrolling and saving the position of the model parameters panel;
- Fixed missing parameter check for bus and firetruck models in TBoGT;
- Fixed loss of the model when switching the game directory;
- Added error handling when determining the localization of the game in the Russian version of the game and the international version of episodes without the latest patch;
- Added reading of readme files in Unicode;
- Many other minor bugs have been fixed.
