You don't have to get into a gunfight with Clarence's men. At the end of a telephone conversation with Francis, you can go into an alley with a construction crane. We need to climb on the crane boom and prepare a sniper rifle. One shot - mission completed. The disadvantage of this method is that leaving alive and meeting Clarence as a random passerby (after completing the Blood Brothers mission) will not work. So - if you want to pardon Clarence and meet him again (I will say frankly that you should not expect anything good from a subsequent meeting with him), you need to join the battle.

A small note (to the alternative way of passing - climb on the crane boom and headshot Clarence): after completing the mission in this way, the player will not receive wanted stars; those. You can try to shoot Clarence with a sniper rifle and from the street (without climbing on the crane boom), but when completing the mission in this way, you will have to get rid of police pursuit.

Не обязательно ввязываться в перестрелку с людьми Кларенса. По окончании телефонного разговора с Фрэнсисом можно зайти в переулок со строительным краном. Нам нужно залезть на стрелу крана и приготовить снайперскую винтовку. Один выстрел — миссия пройдена. Недостаток этого способа заключается в том, что оставить в живых и встретить Кларенса как случайного прохожего (после выполнения миссии Blood Brothers) не получится. Так что — если захочется помиловать Кларенса и встретиться с ним ещё раз (скажу прямо, что не стоит ждать что-либо хорошего от последующей встречи с ним) необходимо вступать в бой.

Небольшое примечание (к альтернативному способу прохождения — залезть на стрелу крана и сделать хэдшот Кларенсу): после прохождения миссии этим способом игрок не получит звёзд розыска; т.е. в данном случае полиция не видела, кто убил Кларенса. Можно попытаться застрелить Кларенса из снайперской винтовки и с улицы (не залезая на стрелу крана), но при прохождении миссии данным способом придётся избавляться от преследования полиции.
