In four years, there will be a garden city here!
Some fans who have been following gta3 since its release remember a modification called Staunton Plaza by a certain RESpawn. At the time of its release, this modification was considered one of the best (alongside The Statue of Liberty from the well-known developer Odie), but by today's standards, the modification looks, to put it mildly, not the best.
We built, built, and finally built!
Deciding to indulge in nostalgia, I downloaded this mod about a week ago. After installing it, I immediately noticed the low-quality textures, lack of prelight, and the incompleteness of the second phase of "construction".
In fact, most of the models were redone by me. Textures have been replaced with high-quality ones, and also supplied with mip-map levels. Added prelight. The second part of the "construction"has been completed. Models have been adapted for the dynamic lighting script by DimZet13 (included). Due to the amount of effort I put in, I decided to rename the complex to Alligator Plaza.
The modification is part of a larger project - GTA3: Kostygov Edition.

Некоторые фанаты, следящие за gta3 с ее выхода, помнят о такой модификации как Staunton Plaza за авторством некого RESpawn. На момент выхода эта модификация считалась одной из лучших (наравне со Статуей Свободы от известного разработчика Odie), однако по сегодняшним меркам - модификация выглядит, мягко говоря, не лучшим образом.
Мы строили, строили и наконец построили!
Решив поностальгировать, я скачал этот мод около недели назад. Установив его, я сразу обратил внимание на текстуры низкого качества, отсутствие прелайта, а также незавершенность второй очереди "строительства".
Фактически, большая часть моделей была мною переделана. Текстуры заменены на высококачественные, а также снабжены мип-мап уровнями. Добавлен прелайт. Завершена вторая часть "строительства". Модели адаптированы под скрипт динамического освещения от DimZet13 (идет в комплекте). Из-за количества вложенных мною усилий, я и решил переименовать комплекс в Alligator Plaza.
Модификация является частью более крупного проекта - GTA3: Kostygov Edition.
