Motorbike
Well, it's done. I present to your attention a motorcycle mod for the original GTA 3 - only for version 1.0.
Features:
- The motorcycle is machine-made, but with its own physics (=SpitFire=), which applies to id103, 130, 159 and 160. (It’s better to bet on 103, 130, because there are glitches with 159 and 160, the game crashes when these ids spawn in npc game)
- Separate animation for motorcycles and cars by applying regular animation to motorcycles and Low animation to all other vehicles + an important fix for Low animation (=Spitfire=). Animations made by t h e a s l 9 9, Shagg_E and me.
- Ability to shoot from a vehicle (=SpitFire=): on/off with the right mouse button when you are in a vehicle, switch weapons to 1, 2.
- The script assumes the presence of a plugin for free camera rotation from erorcun, it is not in the archive, download it from Github
- Rename the file from SACarCam.dll to SACarCam.asi and place it in the game folder.
- If it doesn’t work (the camera doesn’t rotate), then you don’t have enough microsoft visual++ libraries: install some assembly (ms visual 2015-2019, for example)
- Script taken by Alxandro, edited by me. Animations (Shagg_e) from the first person are involved: one for a motorcycle, the other for a car
Unfortunately, it was not possible to contact Alxandro, he has been offline here for a long time, email: mail is invalid - It is impossible to fall off a motorcycle for obvious reasons (there were attempts to make a script, but it was not possible to do it without bugs), but in principle there are advantages to this.
- Possibility to raise/lower the rear axle on num9 and num6 (=SpitFire=). The script doesn’t work very well for motorcycles, it’s more suitable for stabilizing in the air
- For the mod to work, you need the good old DMagic1 Wheel Mod, it’s in the archive
- Models converted from vc (freeway - MAJEST1C, angel - Jemoeder51), collision and sounds taken from the same place
Disadvantages and shortcomings:
- They exist, of course, based on the fact that the motorcycle is a machine
- The triple tire tracks on the rear wheel had to be left as is for the sake of handling
- In some cases this was successful, in others it was not: the animation of getting into doorless cars and motorcycles is used as if it were a motorcycle. The same goes for the shooting animation on the sides.
- Motorcycle sounds are intermittent (gearbox shifting)

To work you need the CLEO library, I have version 2.0.0.1

PS The mod works stably, without crashes.
I haven’t tried to play through the game, there may be some nuances along the way, it’s a two-seater motorcycle (it seems like there was a mission where a bunch of bandits get into a minivan), just a little bit, just put the beads back.
