GTA MaximalPack (Retail)

This is a complete compilation of GTA1, including the two expansions London GTA.

The only thing missing is the music, but it can be downloaded separately.

Installing addons isn't particularly difficult, but as it turns out, many people find it quite challenging to get everything working without errors. Additionally, many attempt to install addons on the Windows version of the game distributed as "Rockstar Classics". Addons cannot be installed on the Rockstar Classics version. They can only be installed on the original Retail version from 1998 for Windows. Therefore, after digging through various builds of this game compiled by different users, I created my own ready-to-use build with all addons installed.

Note that this version of the game rejects the Widescreen Fix. The Widescreen Fix likely only works for the Rockstar Classics version, copies of which are most commonly found online. It is recommended to install nGlide, as it may slightly improve performance.

As a precaution, click on GTAFixer located within the game directory to ensure the game runs properly, as otherwise, there is a chance it may not start when transferring the game to another device. The MaxPack build also includes elements of the game for MS-DOS (meaning the WIN and DOS versions are merged into one game). If you want to play the original game and addons through DOSBox, open the bat files located at GTAMaxPack/GTADOS/, and if you want to play the original game and addons on Windows, open the exe files located at GTAMaxPack/GTAWIN/.
