DOSBox+Win3.11 - To run very old utilities
GTA modding has its roots in MS-DOS days, and as such, some GTA 1 modding utilities could only be written under MS-DOS or Windows3x (a series of 3x versions of Windows that existed before Windows95).
Here is a special build of DOSbox linked to Windows3.11. It allows you to run rare programs that cannot be run on modern OS or even the regular version of DOSbox. For example, COPS (a utility for editing the direction of movement of police cars) can be launched and used comfortably on this assembly.
Features:
- Everything is in Russian (except DOSbox itself).
- Normal resolution and mouse cursor speed. The resolution is set to 1024x768. Do not even try to set it higher, because there will be porridge on the screen. If you really need it, then you can try, but I warned you. Anyway, 1024x768 is also a normal resolution compared to the standard 640x480.
- To run Windows3.11, you just need to click on the DOSbox shortcut, which is inside the assembly.
