Red Dead Redemption 3 is in plans for Take-Two
Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two, hinted that sooner or later the company will release Red Dead Redemption 3.
During his presentation at the Jefferies Virtual Global Interactive Entertainment Conference, Zelnick mentioned that the company will continue to develop its franchises, including Red Dead: «If it's really, really great, it will keep going. There are precious few entertainment franchises of any sort that fall into that category, but they do exist. And I think GTA is one of them, I think Red Dead is one of them, NBA is obviously one of them because the game will continue to exist».
The release of a new Red Dead Redemption game won't be in the near future. Right now, Rockstar Games is focused on developing Grand Theft Auto 6, which is expected to be released between April 2024 and March 2025. During this period, the publisher aims to achieve record-breaking profits.
Earlier, it was announced that Red Dead Redemption characters may appear in Fortnite. Additionally, a noteworthy mod was released for Red Dead Redemption 2 that significantly improves the shooting system.
