A rumor circulated online that a wildfire in Los Angeles destroyed a mansion, believed to be the model for Michael's residence in Grand Theft Auto 5. A photo was shared as evidence, but the information was quickly debunked.
It turned out the news was fake. The photo depicted a completely different building, located in another city. The picture was taken in San Bernardino in August 2024.
