Rockstar Games co-founder Dan Houser has opened a new studio, Absurd Marin, under the Absurd Ventures label. It will develop a story-driven adventure game. The staff includes 20 former Ascendant Studios employees who once worked on Immortals of Aveum. The new team is headed by Bret Robbins, the former creative director of Sledgehammer Games, known for the Call of Duty series. It is known that the new team will develop a story-driven adventure game, the plot of which will unfold in a completely new universe.
