Rockstar Games Launcher ends support for Windows 7, 8, and 8.1. The company released update 1.0.84.1829, which no longer works with the outdated operating systems. The launcher now only supports Windows 10 and Windows 11. The update also included several fixes aimed at the program's stability.
The decision to stop supporting the older operating systems hardly surprised anyone. Microsoft has already stopped releasing updates for them. Recently, other gaming companies, including Valve and CD Projekt RED, have also ceased supporting them.
