Switching to RAGE was only the first step, mandatory microtransactions are the last. I'm afraid in the near future we will see the sunset of T2, as it happened even with Valve.

I don't like this whole zoo of updates. My point of view is unambiguous - as it was, it should be so in the future. There should be continuity with the games of the 3D universe - only the most basic game and never any changes. So that once he leaves the game, even after years, the player returns to the same game, causing attacks of nostalgia. As I already wrote, the only reason for updates, additions and changes, I consider only one thing - inflation of money, a huge stream going to the developers due to microtransactions. In the name of preserving and increasing this flow, developers are introducing additions, introducing more and more cheating items in an increasingly mass order, completely depreciating all old things and even the basic in-game currency - there is nothing to buy for it, because everything is worthy only for donation.

It’s enough to say that I still play it from time to time, because this is a cult legendary game. The ability to fly a helicopter became a real breakthrough for me - before, I thought that in GTA this is basically impossible. It’s also nice that the game runs on any calculator. Considering that the majority of Russians have ancient dinosaur computers, this is extremely important. That’s exactly what the GTA measure of truth for me is the RenderWare engine and small system requirements. Four, five and online are not true. After all, limited by the capabilities of the engine, the developers were forced to solve the problem with the plot, music and atmosphere, which made the game famous ... And now they just go on the schedule. No, not that GTA now, not that. Therefore, I do not recognize the RAGE engine.

Instead of “Smugglers”, it was necessary to introduce the supplement “Default” to remove all accumulations of players and cancel all content of all additions and all collectible and special versions (so that only the content of the base game remains). And, like Sampov’s RPG servers, making players tedious and dreary of working for pennies (without any property, documents, or a roof over their heads). Then the money will gain real value and even the free 100,000 GTA $ will be considered a huge wealth and an almost unattainable dream. In general, it is necessary to create a permanent shortage of money and hinder savings.
