It’s possible, probably, if there are people willing to test it, I haven’t worked very much with the troika. but in any case, not now, I would like to finish what I started with Weisa here and there
Thanks for the info, it was interesting to read. I saw the snow-covered peak without any problems, but what these two white creatures on the right are is still a mystery to me
please tell me, what is written on your banknote? I even downloaded it to watch it, and I still don’t understand – is there some kind of explosion or what is it?
Vanilla Vice certainly has some nuances with save compatibility, and I'm still working on it, but in this case it's still not the case.
in principle, it was already clear from the screenshot what was the matter, but the saving turned out to be useful, thanks for attaching the files. in short: the pool of objects and their properties in your save does not match what is formed in Vanilla Vice. the nuance is that it does not match the original game pool either, which is quite simply explained: Vanilla Vice forms the same pool as the original game - if you have a truly clean game, you can check this for yourself. at the same time, the game that you now consider original (in which you don’t have this problem) is most likely the source of the bug - probably objects were not added / removed correctly in the game or their properties were modified. a universal solution is to always play the game where it was originally started, without dragging saves from one build to another. alternative solution - Well, apart from the obvious option of starting a new game in Vanilla Vice, of course.
you will need to add the game to DEP (Data Execution Prevention) exceptions in the properties of "This PC". there is a step-by-step instruction in the faq.txt file in the ReadMe folder, I will not drag this instruction into the comments, probably
GTA: Vanilla Vice has been updated to version 1.3.1!
This update fixes both the shortcomings of the previous release, as well as a few old trifles, which still did not reach the hands. From the new - appearedgathering map: Hold the Tab key and select the card you want with the keys 1 to 6 to see all the uncollected packets, unfulfilled outbursts, unique jumps and heists.
As always, the full changelog is available in the ReadMe.txt file in the game folder. If you have any questions about the game and its performance, the answers to most of them (as well as other materials) are always available in the ReadMe folder.
Greetings! when you turn off the frame limit on modern devices, the fps in VC flies into the sky and the mechanics in the game break, which is why the limit should always be turned on. another thing is that this limit can be raised a little - how to do it correctly in this case is written in the faq.txt file in the ReadMe folder. there I briefly explained why, despite everything, playing at 30 fps is still the best solution for Vanilla Vice.
in the folder with the game there is the original English voice acting converted to the best quality, and if you simply don’t like voices over the original, playing with the original English voice acting will be the best solution, as for me.
already answered on the mod page, but I'll write here for those who may not have seen the answer there: you need to delete the old version and only then unpack the new one
I have never encountered this, and there never seemed to be prerequisites for such behavior of the game. find the faq.txt file in the ReadMe folder and try the solutions described in the HELP section, maybe one of them will help.
GTA: Vanilla Vice has been updated to version 1.3!
A major update that touches every aspect of the game - GTA: Vanilla Vice plays, sounds and looks better than ever before. And as before, only die-hard Vice City fans will notice.
By tradition, the full list of changes is available in the ReadMe.txt file in the game folder. The answers to frequently asked questions (as well as other materials) are still available in the ReadMe folder, please don't forget about it.
Greetings! 1) no, one on top of the other will not work, probably will not even start. 2) old saves are supported, I just ask you to remember that saves made in some builds may have specific changes that may not be well received in other builds, so it is advisable to either start a new game or use saves that you are 100% sure of ( for example, made in clean versions of the game, perhaps even before the appearance of an abundance of mods). although, as already written earlier, even in this case, some fixes may either not work quite correctly, or not work at all (but there are at least not so many of them, it seems). 3) no, the definitive edition has been moved to other rails and it is impossible to port this mod there.
I don’t even know if this can be tied to their calibers or something like that - in the arsenal of these weapons (even Colts) there were already headshots, they just had a slightly lower probability. thanks for the approval ;)
GTA: Vanilla Vice has been updated to version 1.2!
The new version fixed the shortcomings identified in 1.1, made changes to improve compatibility and stability, slightly reduced the size of the game. A more detailed list of changes is available in the ReadMe.txt file in the game folder.
It is highly discouraged to continue using version 1.1 - please delete it (the whole folder) and extract the new version. You can still check the mod version in the ReadMe.txt file in the game folder.
