The Revolution Team has shared new screenshots of their GTA Vice City remake using the GTA 4 engine. In addition, the creators have announced that work on the vehicles is now fully completed. The main focus is now on recreating the missions.
According to the developers, a lot of work is done manually and not all details are immediately noticeable (light settings, pedestrian and vehicle paths, interior and model fitting, etc.). The project is expected to be released this year. Previously, the Revolution Team showcased gameplay of their remake. The authors promise to recreate all the content from the original (missions, vehicles, weapons, radio stations, and character models), as well as add cut scenes and additional enhancements.
