GTA 5 was launched on Android at 100 FPS
An enthusiast with the username Starcommander on X (Twitter) managed to run the PC version of Grand Theft Auto 5 on their smartphone at 100 FPS. They demonstrated their experiment in a video.
The game was launched through the Horizon emulator on medium graphics settings at a resolution of 1600x720. Achieving 100 FPS was possible on the powerful OnePlus 12 smartphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. According to Starcommander, in some scenes, the FPS dropped to 50-65, and the temperature didn't exceed 42 degrees.
As a reminder, Rockstar Games recently released a trailer and revealed the release date for the major summer update, Bottom Dollar Bounties, for Grand Theft Auto Online. It was also revealed that the mobile versions of the GTA remasters from the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition collection have been downloaded over 30 million times.
