This mod includes many beta features from 2009-2010 to make it feel like playing an older version. The focus is on restoring the 2009 build of the game, from small details to larger changes.
Major changes:
- Changed camera angle. This camera angle is a mixture of alpha and final version.
- John's new texture. John's face was completely redesigned by talented texture artists who studied his beta version and created the perfect combination of all beta John's variations. John's equipment was also darkened to resemble the original alpha version.
- Beta versions of tall trees. In the beta, the snow was pushed back, being only in the Cochin and lake areas. We've brought this back using very few screenshots as a guide.
- Beta interface. Includes beta minimap and wanted interface.
