Reality Redemption - Overhaul Project [2.9.2]

Red Dead Redemption is considered one of the best games in the Western genre, along with its sequel and sequel. However, due to the game's age, many gameplay elements and visual aspects feel outdated and do not meet modern standards.

Mod Reality Redemption aims to improve the game's visuals with better textures, models and weather cycles. It fixes continuity errors and improves gameplay elements for a smoother and more realistic experience.

What has already been done:

• Increased memory capacity and improved overall performance;
• Improved quality of reflections;
• The distance for drawing vegetation has been increased;
• The map drawing range has been increased;
• Improved particles and their quantity;
• Increased variety and quantity of debris;
• Improved physics of liquids such as water;
• Improved AI behavior;
• Improved Euphoria physics;
• Improved random events and their frequency of occurrence;
• Improved materials and their interaction;
• Improved clipping of invisible objects (culling);
• Motion animations have been modified for smoother transitions;
• Improved John Marston textures;
• Improved textures of the game world, such as paths, roads, earth and grass;
• Fixed issues with fog at night and other timing loop issues.

What is currently being done:

• Improved textures of minor characters and buildings;
• Improved loading screen textures;
• Improved vegetation textures;
• Improved textures of trees and small objects based on physics;
• Improved cloud textures;
• Improved vehicle rendering range;
• Improved shadow maps and shadow drawing distance;
• Improved weather and cloud diversity, and improved overall weather system;
• Improved cloud shadows;
• Improved textures of rocks and rock formations.

What's planned:

• Add an option to disable rainy weather in Thieves Landing;
• Fix problem with excessive brightness of moonlight on earth;
• Improve rain effects;
• Find out why R* didn't implement a full PostFX system in this game;
• Increase some memory allocations;
• Update the game lore with new dialogues and subtitles;
• Improve weapon and environment sounds;
• Add new and improved particle textures and effects.

Installation:

1. Unpack folder RealityRedemption BETA 2.9.2 PC to the folder with the installed RDR game (where the RDR.exe file is located).
2. After that, go to this folder and open the file RR 2.9.2 PC Installer.bat , follow the instructions on the screen. Installation may take some time.
The installer will automatically apply the mod to your game.
