A cowboy can't be a real cowboy without a horse. But if you've always wanted to play Red Dead Redemption 2 with your own dog, then this mod is for you.
How to use:
- Find your favorite dog and pet it.
- While stroking you will notice a new button “Tame" Click on it and the dog will join you.
How the mod works:
- The dog will follow you and can be ordered to sit and wait. If you enter the premises, the dog will be waiting for you outside.
- You can call your dog to you by whistling. Please note that there is a certain range of the whistle, and if the dog is too far away, it will not respond to your calls.
- If the dog is lost, you can return it by interacting with the main horse and activating the desired hint.
- The dog can help you in hand-to-hand combat and attack opponents.
- The dog will help you in your hunt in various ways: after you have tracked an animal, the dog will run towards it and start barking, helping you find it (unless it has been ordered to stay).
- When tracking an animal, the dog will use its senses and help you find it quickly.
- The dog will become aroused by nearby predators and will attack them if they get too close.
- The mod adds a new special scale for the dog's health. The lower the scale level, the slower the dog's health is restored.
- To fully restore the dog's scale and health, it must be fed prey.
- The mod contains complete instructions and tips.
- You can give your dog a name and change it at any time in the game.
- You can give up your dog at any time.
- Some features can be disabled via the RDR2/DogCompanion/DogCompanion.ini settings file.
Installation:
Place DogCompanion.asi and the DogCompanion folder in the root folder of the game, where the exe is.

Ковбой не может быть настоящим ковбоем без лошади. Но если вам всегда хотелось играть в Red Dead Redemption 2 с личной собакой, то этот мод создан для вас.
Как использовать:
- Найдите понравившуюся собаку и погладьте её.
- Во время поглаживания вы заметите новую кнопку «Приручить». Нажмите на неё, и собака присоединится к вам.
Как мод работает:
- Собака будет следовать за вами, ей можно приказать сесть и ждать. Если вы войдете в помещение, собака будет ждать вас снаружи.
- Свистом можно подзывать собаку к себе. Обратите внимание, что существует определенный радиус действия свиста, и если собака находится слишком далеко, она не будет реагировать на ваши призывы.
- Если собака потерялась, вы можете вернуть ее, взаимодействуя с главной лошадью и активируя нужную подсказку.
- Собака может помогать вам в рукопашных схватках и атаковать противников.
- Вы можете приказать собаке атаковать других животных или нпс.
- Собака будет помогать вам в охоте различными способами: после того как вы выследите животное, собака побежит в его сторону и начнет лаять, помогая вам найти его (если ей не было приказано остаться).
- При выслеживании животного собака будет использовать свои органы чувств и поможет быстро найти его.
- Собака будет возбуждаться от хищников, находящихся поблизости, и нападать на них, если они окажутся слишком близко.
- Мод добавляет новое специальную шкалу для здоровья собаки. Чем ниже уровень шкалы, тем медленнее восстанавливается здоровье собаки.
- Чтобы полностью восстановить шкалу и здоровье собаки, ее необходимо кормить добычей.
- Мод содержит полное руководство и подсказки.
- Вы можете дать своей собаке имя и изменить его в любой момент в игре.
- Вы можете отказаться от собаки в любой момент.
- Некоторые функции можно отключить через файл настроек RDR2/DogCompanion/DogCompanion.ini.
Требуется: Lenny's Mod Loader RDR и ScriptHook by Alexander Blade.
Установка:
Закинуть DogCompanion.asi и папку DogCompanion в корневую папку игры, где exe'шник.
