Every time you change your vehicle, this script will set the radio you were listening to in the previous vehicle.
Features of the script:
- All music radio stations are supported, including MP3;
- Tested on game versions 1.0 and 1.1.
Nuances:
- In the original storyline, the game sometimes sets the radio associated with the mission actors (Lance — Fever 105, Cubans — Espantoso, etc.), in most cases the script will ignore this and set the radio you were listening to earlier — this is not a bug, it is a direct responsibility of the script;
- Switching some radio by the mission right during the movement (e.g. V-Rock in "Publicity Tour") is not considered a bug, because the script only sets the radio when you change vehicles. It's also not a bug if the radio doesn't switch to yours when it's not Tommy driving the vehicle (for example, in the mission "Phnom Penh '86" Lance is driving the helicopter, not Tommy);
- In a non-original storyline, there are usually other global variables and other pointers to story progress, so the basic version of the script (option 1) will most likely not work correctly (or will not work at all) — try option 2 — it does not have the specific checks required for the original storyline; 100% functionality on non-original storyline, however, is not guaranteed, but still;
- The radio may not be saved/set correctly in cases if you quickly get out of the car immediately after getting into it; in the bustle of some missions, unfortunately, the script may not function at all (all of the above is most critical for MP3 radio) — perhaps in the future I will catch and fix such moments.
Installation: move the favradio.cs (select only one favradio.cs) to the CLEO folder in your game folder (requires CLEO installed, of course).
And yeah — you got a fever, baby!
