Used an old (c. 2012) script from the author Serega (indicated by the author wherever I saw this script). Everywhere with this script there is a ped.ifp file in which the original running, sprint and stopping animations are replaced with animations from GTA San Andreas. All non-swimming animations are original here. Replaced only the animations necessary for the mod to work: Drown, FALL_front and FALL_back, used for being in the water, breaststroke and crawl (faster), respectively.
Requirements: version of cleo is not less than CLEO 2.0.0.3! Installation: place the contents of the archive in the game folder (swim.cs will go to the cleo folder, ped.ifp will replace the file of the same name in the anim folder).
P.S. Pros of the mod: * Swimming itself works great in my humble opinion. Cons of the mod: * It will not work to wet your feet on the shore of the beach, since upon contact with water, the swimming mode immediately turns on. The script checks if the player is in the water, and, as I understand it, this is the reason. If you just enter the water, the swimming animation will be, but there will be no forward movement. * The function of returning the player to land when falling into the water right next to the pier is not disabled. Therefore, it is triggered and takes 5 health points away. It worked for me several times when I jumped on the boat. * Mod replaces the animation used by the game for falling / flying forward (FALL_front) and falling backward (FALL_back), although there are animations unused by the game in the ped.ifp file.
