The mod adds dynamically changing lighting for objects.
Attention!
In order for the new lighting to work, you need to prepare a 3d model (.dff file).Standard game models will not be covered!.
Model preparation
In the model, you need to disable the prelight, aka vertex color (in ZModeler, just resave dff so that it gets lost). You also need to set the direction of the normals perpendicular to the sides of the object for better lighting (in ZModeler, divide the building into parallel planes, then Surface / Normals / Calculate, and merge back).
Installing
1. Copy DirectLight.asi to the game folder. 2. For an example of work, replace wshbuildws14.dff in gta3.img, (see screenshot) - a green building in the port of the first island, the LOD of the building remained standard without lighting, you can just compare it.
