For those who have not downloaded the mod before, there is no need to download the patch.
Meet the new version of the modification "Snow San Andreas" (we distributed it under the names "Wintering" and "Winter Has Come"), which almost every GTA San Andreas player knows.
This project began to be developed back in 2008 and was a hodgepodge of modifications from the authors of that time. This included not only snow textures, but also other eye-catching retextures of various buildings, signs, and billboards. The last update dates back to 2011, when the author added snow-covered lodes. It is this version that still circulates on the Internet without any actual changes.
Snow San Andreas- a global mod for GTA SA that covers the entire state with snow. Unlike the project of the same name Snow San Andreas 2011 or Winter Vacation , this mod is not demanding on hardware.
Features of this version:
* Mip levels have been added to all textures, now there will be no “black roads” bug on low graphics settings, and the textures themselves now look more solid.
* The modpack and about a hundred other retextures have been completely removed. Now only snow textures.
* Winter weather.
* Snow tires on all cars.
* Driving became difficult due to ice.
* Easter eggs from the original mod were partially preserved and new ones were added.
* SnowFX now has an INI file in which you can configure snowfall control keys.
* The game will not crash if SnowFX is not installed correctly.
This version of the mod is designed for comfortable play in single player and SA-MP, and also provides for further installation of modifications on top of this mod without any problems. It is recommended to install the mod via Modloader.
