The Lebedev pistol (PL-14) is a prototype of the Russian self-loading pistol chambered for 9X19 mm Parabellum. Developed by a team of designers of the Kalashnikov concern for the needs of Russian law enforcement agencies. Developer Dmitry Lebedev is a student of shooter, trainer and sports weapons designer Efim Khaidurov, and has been developing experimental pistols for many years. Another well-known shooter, Andrey Kirisenko, is also involved in the project. For the first time presented at the International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2015" near Moscow. The weapon has yet to undergo state tests and military operation. The PL-14 is supposed to be used both in the armed forces and law enforcement agencies, and as a sports pistol for competitions of various classes.
