The main character, Edan Nicholson, lives in the family of a big shot in the underworld - Badda Potgieter. Edan has no family, no money, no home, Edan doesn't even have parents. Edan is an orphan. Edan also has a congenital heart defect. Edan's father- Joe Nicholson, was a personal bodyguard... US President. Edana's mother was a housewife. In 1980, Edan was 14 years old. During these times, Third World War, Vietnam and Brazil were not accepted into the RYAKIGNSSHM union, although they should have been included. Only the USSR, Japan, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, China, Mexico and the USA were in this union. Vietnam and Brazil were also supposed to be in this alliance, but they were not accepted. Instead, Vietnam was to be annexed to China and Brazil to Mexico. Vietnam and Brazil did not give up so easily, both countries unexpectedly attacked all 8 countries of the union.
