May ninth, some sixty-eight years ago, in 1945, the Act of unconditional surrender of Germany came into force. The Soviet Union won the Great Patriotic War, overthrowing fascism. In a cruel and bloody war that lasted for several years, according to one version of the statistics, 6.8 million military personnel died on the part of the USSR; including the civilian population, 26.6 million people were killed. Our people, the brave people who fought against the Nazis, managed to defend their country. Let's not forget about their feat and honor it, treat veterans with respect, because we are indebted to them, try not to allow enmity, not succumb to provocations and just be good and decent people.Happy Victory Day!
What does the mod do? After installation, a monument to Soviet soldiers will appear in San Fierro. Near the monument, you can put a bouquet of flowers, to do this, press the "E" button while near it. For a small fee, you can (both near the monument and throughout the state) refresh yourself with soldier's porridge.
The soldiers are on duty from eight in the morning until six in the evening, after which they go home. You can fire the (fake, of course) cannon near the monument for a small fee (press "E" next to it). In addition, you can get on the roof of a neighboring skyscraper (stand on the marker near the door of the building) and jump with a parachute (an additional parachute with the symbols of the Red Army is added).
In the third version of the mod: improved monument model and gun model; reworked all textures, including soldier textures; added mip-maps to make the textures not so "heavy" for the video card; textures of the square where the monument stands and the skyscraper from ; made a set of low quality textures for weak computers; worked out compatibility with all mods on the theme of the seasons (Spring Season 2.0, Endless Summer: Full Edition, Autumn SunshineandWinter Vacation 2.0); the mod is now installed not only manually, but also completely automatically (that is, it is in two versions).
In the "Extras" folder, you can find something else of interest.
