The Heckler & Koch Gewehr 36, G36 is a family of small arms developed in the early 1990s by the German company Heckler & Koch to replace the well-known HK G3 automatic rifle.
From a structural point of view, the mechanics of the weapon is a variant of the AR-18 rifle, developed in the early 1960s in the United States, but made with extensive use of modern materials, including high-strength polymers for the receiver.
