Moskvich-408 is a Soviet passenger car of a small class, produced in Moscow at the MZMA plant, later renamed AZLK, from 1964 to 1975 and at an automobile plant in Izhevsk from 1966 to 1967 (only about 4000 cars were produced there). Compared to its predecessors, the length and width of the car have increased significantly, while reducing its height. Significantly increased the volume of the cabin, increased capacity and comfort, significantly improved driving performance - the dynamics of acceleration and braking, stability, handling, etc. The design of the car at the time of launching the series was quite consistent with the level of foreign analogues.
