All the music from the game, or more precisely - songs that can be heard on the in-game radio stations.

Bounce FM:

WCTR's Area 53 host Marvin Trill calls Bounce FM, mistakenly believing that "The Party Ship" (the second name of the radio station) is a real flying saucer that he wants to get on.

This is the favorite radio station of the Ballas, Da Nang Boys, Denise Robinson; as well as Sweet and Big Smoke - when the player gets into their cars, this radio station plays there.

Many tracks from the radio station were sampled by rappers (for example, Ohio Players — Funky Worm was sampled by Ice Cube — You Know How We Do It, which can be heard in Grand Theft Auto V on the West Coast Classics radio station).

Ohio Players — Funky Worm plays in the first cutscene of the mission Cleaning The Hood (Sweet's conversation with Big Smoke, at which point CJ appears).

Lakeside — Fantastic Voyage plays in the cutscene of the mission Catalyst (CJ's conversation with Ryder, at which point Frank Tenpenny and Eddie Pulaski appear).

Kool & The Gang — Hollywood Swinging is one of three songs that plays during the dancing mini-game in night clubs; it (the song) also plays during the dance in the mission Life's A Bitch.

Johnny Harris — Odyssey and Ronnie Hudson & The Street People — West Coast Poplock play during lowrider competitions; Ronnie Hudson & The Street People — West Coast Poplock can also be heard in the cutscene of the mission Jizzy (his meeting with CJ).

The Isley Brothers — Between The Sheets plays inside strip clubs; this song also plays in the King In Exile cutscene.

Zapp — I Can Make You Dance plays in the cutscene of the mission Ice Cold Killa (in Jizzy's Pleasure Domes strip club).

Rick James — Cold Blooded plays in the cutscene of the mission T-Bone Mendez (in Jizzy's Pleasure Domes strip club).

Sometimes the DJ The Funktipus (voiced by George Clinton) says lines from various songs by the band Parliament-Fukadelic between songs (which is not surprising; after all, George Clinton is a member of both bands).

George Clinton — Loopzilla plays in the trailer for the mobile (Android) version of the game.

CSR 103.9:

In the very first version of the game on PS2 (1.0), the radio station had a frequency of 103.2; in all subsequent versions of the game, the radio station frequency changed to 103.9.

Sometimes CJ hums the chorus of the song En Vogue — My Lovin' (You're Never Gonna Get It).

This radio station sometimes plays in Sweet's car (Greenwood).

En Vogue — My Lovin' (You're Never Gonna Get It) contains samples from James Brown — The Payback, which can be heard on the Master Sounds 98.3 radio station.

En Vogue — My Lovin' (You're Never Gonna Get It) and Samuelle — So You Like What You See play in strip clubs.

The radio station plays in the ProLaps store, the barbershop on Seville Beach, and the gym in Las Venturas.

In the mobile (Android) version and all subsequent versions of the game starting from 2013, CSR 103.9, K-Rose, and SF-UR are the only radio stations that have kept all tracks from the original version of the game.

K-DST:

This is the favorite radio station of Freddy, Mike Toreno, the Italian Mafia, San Andreas Bikers, the Elvises, and one of the favorite radio stations of the Los Santos Vagos.

The radio station plays in the Binco and Zip stores.

K-DST is the default radio station for all planes, except Andromada and Skimmer, where Radio X and CSR 103.9 play respectively; and Master Sounds 98.3 will play in the Hydra.

There is an ironic phrase spoken by DJ Tommy Smith after the song Creedence Clearwater Revival — Green River. He says: "This is a flannel-free zone. We're rock stars, people, not lumberjacks." The fact is, the frontman of Creedence Clearwater Revival, John Fogerty, often wore flannel shirts during concerts, and he can usually be seen in them (flannel shirts) in public photos.

Creedence Clearwater Revival — Green River plays in the cutscene of the mission Tanker Commander (CJ's meeting with Catalina).

Boston — Smokin' plays in the first cutscene of the mission Wu Zi Mu (when CJ is waiting for Caesar).

Toto — Hold The Line is the only song for which DJ Tommy Smith does not make comments at the beginning or end.

Sometimes, while idling, CJ may hum the chorus of Rod Stewart — Young Turks until he forgets the rest of the song.

The Who — Eminence Front plays in the trailer for the Xbox version of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas.

In the background of one of DJ Tommy Smith's monologues, you can hear a guitar sound similar in sound to the sound from the AC/DC song — Rock 'N' Roll Singer.

K-Jah West:

The only radio station in the game where there are two DJs - Marshall Peters and Johnny Lawton.

Favorite radio station of the San Fierro Rifa, pizza delivery guys, and Jamaican taxi drivers.

I-Roy — Sidewalk Killer plays in the cutscene of the mission Running Dog (CJ's and Big Smoke's conversation with members of the Vagos gang).

K-Rose:

The Statler Brothers — New York City was not listed in the brochure-guide for the first version of the game (1.0) on PS2; however, in subsequent versions, this song was already listed.

After the song Conway Twitty & Loretta Lynn — Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man, DJ Mary-Beth Maybelle mentions that she has never been to the Mississippi River.

Starting with the mobile (Android) version, in all subsequent versions of the game, K-Rose, SF-UR, and CSR 103.9 are the only radio stations whose playlists/tracklists have not changed.

Master Sounds 98.3:

Favorite radio station of Wu Zi Mu, Jizzy B, Eddie Pulaski, Andre; as well as one of the favorite radio stations of the Los Santos Vagos, taxi drivers, Caesar, Ryder, and Big Smoke.

Maceo & The Macks — Cross The Tracks (We Better Go Back), Bobby Byrd — Hot Pants, and James Brown — Funky President play inside the "Caligula's" and "Four Dragons" casinos.

The radio station plays in the Los Santos gym and Old Reece's barbershop.

When police steal another vehicle from a pedestrian (if the police car/bike is destroyed), they (the police) will listen to this particular radio station.

Charles Wright & The Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band — Express Yourself was not so much remixed as sampled by N.W.A. — Express Yourself (this track can be heard on Radio Los Santos).

Although James Brown — Funky President was removed from the mobile (Android) version of the game, this song can still be heard inside the casinos.

James Brown — Funky President is one of three songs that plays in night clubs during the mini-game (when CJ is dancing).

The Chakachas — Jungle Fever plays in the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto San Andreas.; this song also plays in the first cutscene of the mission Ice Cold Killa (more precisely, in the garage).

The Harlem Underground Band — Smokin' Cheeba Cheeba plays in the mission Test Drive (more precisely, in the very first cutscene of this mission).

Gloria Jones — Tainted Love is the only song for which DJ Johnny Parkinson does not make comments at the beginning or end.

Sometimes DJ Johnny Parkinson mentions the song James Brown — Papa's Got A Brand New Bag (considered the first song in the "funk" genre); the song itself is not in the game.

Notably, this radio station broadcasts on the same frequency as Emotion from Grand Theft Auto Vice City and Grand Theft Auto Vice City Stories (i.e., the broadcast frequency of these radio stations in all three games is 98.3).

Playback FM:

Despite the mention that Playback FM plays "Old school" and "Golden age hip-hop", the time range of songs covers 1987-1992, which is almost identical to that of Radio Los Santos, where the time range of songs covers 1988-1992.

The radio station DJ - Forth Right MC, was voiced by rapper Chuck D, a member of Public Enemy (whose song - Rebel Without A Pause is present on the radio station).

This radio station is a favorite of the Varrios Los Aztecaz gang.

Gang Starr — B.Y.S. plays in the cutscene of the mission Drive-Thru (when Big Smoke, Ryder, Sweet, and CJ are placing their order).

Biz Markie — The Vapors plays in the very first cutscene of the mission Just Business (CJ's conversation with Big Smoke).

Sometimes CJ hums the chorus of the song Big Daddy Kane — Warm It Up, Kane while idling.

Radio Los Santos:

Favorite radio station of the Grove Street Families gang and Ryder.

The radio plays inside Madd Dogg's mansion (in the mission A Home In The Hills).

If CJ ignores Denise Robinson, she will call the radio station to talk about it.

2Pac Feat. Pogo — I Don't Give A Fuck plays in the third trailer for Grand Theft Auto San Andreas.

Radio Los Santos plays in regular barbershops (i.e., all except Reece's Hair & Facial Studio and Macisla's in East Los Santos).

Dr. Dre Feat. Snoop Dogg — Nuthin' But A 'G' Thang is one of three songs that play during the dancing mini-games in night clubs.

Dr. Dre Feat. Snoop Dogg, Jewell & RBX — Fuck Wit Dre Day (And Everybody's Celebratin') plays in the cutscene of the mission The Green Sabre (at Sweet's house), this song can also be heard in the very first cutscene of the mission Nines And AK's.

Ice Cube — It Was A Good Day and Compton's Most Wanted — Hood Took Me Under play inside Jizzy's Pleasure Domes and in the strip rooms in Big Smoke's crack den.

The radio station features songs by Kid Frost and MC Eiht (member of the group Compton's Most Wanted), who voiced T-Bone Mendez and Ryder respectively. This radio station plays by default in the Greenwood car. However, Bounce FM always plays in Sweet's personal Greenwood.

When 2Pac Feat. Pogo — I Don't Give A Fuck plays, DJ Julio G sometimes mentions that he is afraid to play this song due to the excessive use of profanity, as well as political content in the lyrics, and he will likely be fined for playing it. Despite this, most songs played on the radio station contain profanity. His comment sounds quite ironic, considering the vast amount of swearing or cursing in the entire game.

N.W.A. — Alwayz Into Somethin' plays at Ryder's house in the cutscene of the mission Ryder (more precisely, during CJ's conversation with Ryder).

Ice Cube — It Was A Good Day can also be heard in the cutscene of the mission Robbing Uncle Sam (CJ's conversation with Ryder).

Compton's Most Wanted — Hood Took Me Under plays in the cutscene of the mission Cleaning The Hood (when CJ and Ryder talk to Mark "B-Dup" Wayne and Barry "Big Bear" Thorne).

Ice Cube Feat. Das EFX — Check Yo Self [The Message Remix] was sampled from the song Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five — The Message, which appears on Wildstyle Pirate Radio in Grand Theft Auto Vice City. Sometimes DJ Julio G refers to various RockStar Games employees, including:

"Les from the North" - a mention of Leslie Benzies, former president of Rockstar North.

"Sound guys Allan, Craig, and Will from Scotland on holiday" - a reference to Allan Walker, Krayn Conner, and Will Morton, who worked as sound engineers at Rockstar North, which is based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

"Sam and the guys from Liberty City" - a reference to Sam Houser, current president of Rockstar Games, whose main offices are located in New York, on which Liberty City is based.

Ice Cube — It Was A Good Day is sampled from the song The Isley Brothers — Footsteps In The Dark, which appears in Grand Theft Auto IV on the radio station The Vibe 98.8.

The beat from the song Kid Frost — La Raza is sampled from the song El Chicano — Viva Tirado, which can be heard in Grand Theft Auto V on the radio station The LowDown 91.1.

N.W.A. — Alwayz Into Somethin' contains samples from the song Tom Scott & The L.A. Express — Sneakin' In The Back (this track can be heard in Grand Theft Auto IV on the radio station Fusion FM).

Radio X:

The radio station plays by default in the following vehicles: Andromada plane, Buffalo car, Freeway and PCJ-600 motorcycles.

Radio X plays in Sub Urban stores, bars with the Ten Green Bottles interior, and tattoo parlors.

Guns N' Roses — Welcome To The Jungle plays in the official trailer for Grand Theft Auto San Andreas.

Rage Against The Machine — Killing In The Name plays in the cutscene during a failed date. In later versions of the game, due to the song's removal because of license expiration, the melody from a successful date plays instead (of Rage Against The Machine — Killing In The Name), which makes the situation amusing and even absurd.

L7 — Pretend We're Dead plays at the beach party in the mission Life's A Beach.

Stone Temple Pilots — Plush is the only song for which DJ Sage does not provide comments at the beginning and end.

SF-UR:

Favorite radio station of the San Fierro Triads, Da Nang Boys, Millie Perkins, prostitutes, and taxi drivers.

The only radio station not released separately on the game's CD soundtrack.

A Guy Called Gerald — Voodoo Ray and Frankie Knuckles — Your Love play in night clubs when the player does not start the dancing mini-game.

The radio station plays in the Victim clothing store.

Despite claims that there are no commercials on this radio station, you can still hear commercials on it (the radio station).

This is the only radio station in the game that has no jingles; it is also the only radio station where the beginning and end of all songs are always accompanied by comments from the DJ - Hans Oberlander.

SF-UR, K-Rose, CSR 103.9 are the only radio stations that have kept all tracks from the original version of the game in the reissued version of the game.
