Design Your Own Mission 8.3 Alpha 10
A few years later, a new official version of DYOM is released. It is currently still in development, but the alpha version is already available for testing.
This is an alpha test version. Missions created in the alpha version may not work in the final release!

To maintain the functionality of existing DYOM mods (such as DYOM#, Rainbomizer, etc.), great effort has been made to keep the memory layout and core script binary code as close to the original as possible.
However, some of these addons may stop working or cause errors/crashes. Before reporting problems, please test them on a clean installation without mods.
- Added menu hotkey New Entity (N)
- Added menu hotkey Edit Nearest Entity (E)
- Added an object that visualizes the positions of control points
- Added special actor animation: Revive
- Changed route logic related to jump/climb actions
- Removed random pop-up messages about statistics
- The reaction to editing checkpoints has been configured
- The "Enhancer script missing" message no longer flashes for a few frames when running DYOM
- Fixed actor animation target crashing if there are no actors in the mission
- Player control has been re-activated in the Actor Animation Objective menu
Changes in Alpha 9
- Fixed erasing routes after editing actors
- Fixed that pickups that spawn immediately after the cutscene were not displayed
- Fixed a situation where Actors leading a route would get stuck trying to obey traffic rules too much
- Fixed a bug due to which actor-friends did not react to threats
- Fixed bug 8.1 where actors using car exit/sitting animations would only target the player while driving past
- Fixed a bug in 8.1 where actors using the car entry animation would not drive past ! at all!
- Fixed the appearance of vehicles and pedestrians after using the Teleport To Objective utility
- Removed the one frame delay when the actor stands still before the animation plays
- Added special animation "Climbing
- Added special animation for quickly entering the nearest car
- Added Actor Jump and Actor Climb functions for walking routes !

- Fixed random crashes when entering interiors

— The erratic repeat keys F1, F2 and F3 have been disabled
- Fixed pedestrians and vehicles to match certain map areas
— The coloring of the unexplored zone has been removed from the map
— Fixed the player appearing in the air after loading the mission
— Removed unnecessary fades and interruptions when skipping scenes
- Updated editor mode: no random traffic of any kind, no fall damage, super sprint, daytime blocked, etc.
New features in mission editor mode:
— Hotkey for saving the current mission file (Ctrl+S)
— Play current mission hotkey (F1)
— Play the current mission from the selected target (hotkey Alt+F1)
— Select the nearest target hotkey (F5)
— Teleport to the previous target hotkey (F6)
— Teleport to the next target (F7)
— Show map Hotkey (Tab)
— Automatic teleportation to a target located on the map
— Improved information messages about entities
— Redesigned agent and weapon selection menus
— Redesigned route editor with route visualization

— Enabled access to the main menu during scenes
- In missions with a timer, the time when the player is under control is now taken into account (cutscenes, etc. are not included in the game time)

— New animations of 1857 actors (all GTA SA animations are available)

Installation:
— install the game version GTA SA 1.0 Hoodlum
— install CLEO 4.4.4 or later
— copy the files from the "Documents" directory to the location where your game saves are stored
— copy the files from the "Game Dir" directory to the main game directory (where GTA_SA.exe is located)
It still has the same file format as the old DYOM 8.1. This means that the old version will load missions created in 8.3, but of course the new features will not work in them.
Please note that the GTA DYOM Editor will load mission files created in this version, but new features will not be presented correctly. Also, when saving, the routes used to animate the actors will be lost.
