Vadim Censor Patch - is a comprehensive modification that replaces and limits the "specific" content of the game, while not turning it into a semblance of various inadequate "super-censorship" in the style of censorship from Rockstar for Japan (where all civilian enemies are hidden members of the Ballas gang) and similar alternatives.

The vast majority of players got acquainted with GTA SA at a fairly young age and at that time hardly anyone even thought about any age restrictions and other similar things. I got acquainted with GTA SA in the two thousandth in the same way and in general I never saw any problems in it. Another thing is that parents or any other people who could suddenly appear at the most inopportune moment behind your back could see problems in it. In general, I was somehow always lucky not to go through certain missions at such moments, not to enter the "magnet for girls" cheat code at this time, or not to be in those places, thanks to which no interesting situations arose. However, a long time later I came across a video on YouTube about the GTA loading screens when parents are nearby (you can search for "GTA loading screen when parents are nearby"), and then I also read the comments there. It is also worth mentioning that I made some kind of prototype of this patch in a much less formal form much earlier for my nephews, whom I also decided to introduce to the classics at an early age. It was possible for them to play only in the central room right on the TV, where someone was literally all the time, so I had to come up with something. I think that most of the players have a similar situation and the personal space is extremely limited, at best by the size of a private house, not to mention apartments.

As a result, all this prompted me to create this kind of censorship patch. Such a patch that would not turn the game into a "stub", removing everything from it, while also changing its meaning. The main goal of my patch was precisely to limit/hide various content that could cause an ambiguous reaction from everyone who likes to come to you at the most inopportune moment.

At the same time, Vadim Censor Patch has quite flexible settings, since I have decomposed almost every element of it into separate folders and described the purpose of each element, so that any player can install for himself the level of censorship that he considers necessary. The instructions, in the relevant section, describe in the greatest detail each of these elements and the order of its installation. The installation of almost all these elements is possible with the help of modloader, only with some of them you will have to perform small manipulations, but this, again, is described in great detail in the paragraph about installation.

Now let's move on to the most important thing — what exactly does this patch do? It replaces most of the textures of adult stores (outside, inside and even in unused brothels), some "special" weapons, the most revealing skins (including those that can be used after installing hot coffe), some models, loading screens and other smaller things. Also with this patch you can install a lightweight audio folder, where pedestrians have no sounds (accordingly, there are no sounds for girls and courtesans), advertising on radio stations with direct subtext (with sounds) is cut out and only csr 103.9 is present from the radio (there is no "interesting" content on this radio). Along with this, this patch also has a "censored" spent translation, from which I removed/replaced all the most serious swear words and direct hints, but without reinterpreting the meaning of the plot (the theme of drugs and other things — everything remained in its place, only the original words for this changed, which I cannot directly quote here). I immediately warn you that this is not the fake spent translation that was made much later (with completely incomprehensible, albeit funny dialogues and so on), but the original, the very spent translation that was distributed everywhere on blanks and discs in the two thousandth. I played with it then and I'm playing with it now, I never had any particular problems understanding the plot and there were no problems with the game. Again, you can always just turn off the subtitles or even make a censored version of any other translation yourself if you really need it. I, first of all, made this patch for my own needs and hence the choice fell on the spent translation that is familiar to me.

In addition to all this, I have attached to my patch a couple of bonus files from myself and other authors that can make more radical censorship in GTA SA, including disabling the ability to shoot off the head, trample dead pedestrians, turn off blood, panic and screams of passers-by and the like. I didn't include all this right away in my patch, but made a separate bonus because I don't consider all this necessary and causing any problems. Naturally, everyone has different views on games and what should be in them, so just in case I put these files in the archive as a separate bonus. Who knows, suddenly your grandmother will come to live in a one-room apartment, and you are not old enough and you want to ride in GTA San Andreas without unnecessary comments and judgments, anything can happen :)

In general, my patch changes quite a lot of things and makes GTA SA a palatable game in order to play it at least even from 4 years old. Do you want to recommend or just play with your children in GTA San Andreas, a classic of the gaming industry, but you can't because of the large amount of profanity? This patch solves this problem. You are not very old and you just want to calmly play GTA SA in your free time, and someone is constantly walking behind your back and looking at you? This patch solves this problem as well.

And, again, I repeat the most important thing. If you don't need this patch, you don't accept censorship in any form and all this is complete nonsense for you — you can always just skip this file, not paying any attention to it and not wasting your personal time writing negative comments, putting down minuses and so on. Above I clearly described for whom and for which cases this patch is needed, everyone decides for himself — does he need this patch or not. First of all, I did it for my own needs, but after seeing a couple of videos on YouTube and realizing that nothing like this has been done for GTA SA so far - I decided to make it publicly available. Who needs it, use it for health. Who doesn't need it, skip this file, as you have already done with thousands of others. In any case, thank you all for your attention.
