Smugglers are a semi-bandit group that transports a lot of goods from the mainland to the Zone. Not all members of this group are involved in criminal activity in terms of the Zone, since most of its members simply drag all kinds of goods from the mainland and sell them in the Zone with a good markup. However, the leader of the group and his entourage are former gang leaders, so the smugglers are still more sympathetic to the gangsters. Many stalkers do not trust smugglers, as they can often throw an ordinary loner, and there is no guarantee from them. Smugglers strongly dislike, and sometimes even openly quarrel with large traders, since they have their own suppliers and are not going to smugglers under the roof of the smugglers. The group's base is located somewhere on the border of the Zone, where they have something equipped in the form of a large checkpoint.

Контрабандисты - это полубандитская группировка, которая переправляет достаточно много товара с большой земли в Зону. Далеко не все члены этой группировки причастны к криминальной деятельности в понятиях Зоны, так как большинство ее членов просто таскает всяческие товары с большой земли и продает их в Зоне с хорошей наценкой. Однако, лидер группировки и его окружение это бывшие бандитские авторитеты, так что контрабандисты все же больше симпатизируют бандитским группировкам. Многие сталкеры не доверяют контрабандистам, так как они часто могут кинуть обычного одиночку, да и никакой гарантии от них не получить. Контрабандисты сильно недолюбливают, а иногда даже открыто враждуют с крупными торговцами, так как у тех свои поставщики и находится под крышей контрабандистов они не собираются. База группировки располагается где-то на границе Зоны, там у них оборудовано что-то в виде крупного КПП.
