"Interception" is a group that consists entirely of seasoned stalkers. The group is very secretive and rarely comes into contact with ordinary stalkers. In general, all that is known about this group is that they live somewhere almost in the very center of the Zone and are looking for very rare artifacts and other anomalous formations there. They have good relations with scientists, supply them with material for research through intermediaries, and they, in turn, provide the interceptors with everything necessary for their existence.
